PokerNow HUD Advanced

PokerNow tools: how our free HUD compares

Most other PokerNow HUDs need a paid subscription. PokerNow HUD Advanced is free, with 139 stats, and its stats change with the spot you’re in. It runs in Chrome on a computer, for No-Limit Hold’em games on PokerNow.

Free, with 139 stats

Every feature is free: there’s no paid tier, no account to make and no ads.

The 139 stats follow each player by their PokerNow ID, so a new name doesn’t reset them. The stats page explains every one, with its typical range.

Stats that change with the spot

Its stats change with the spot you’re in. Each player’s badge shows VPIP and PFR, and on that player’s turn it opens with 3-bet, aggression factor, went to showdown and the stats for the spot they’re in.

Facing an open, the opener’s badge shows their raise first in from that seat, fold to 3-bet and 4-bet. On the flop it shows each player’s fold to c-bet in or out of position, by pot type, heads-up or multiway; on the river, showdown stats.

A gold number is above the typical range and a blue one below. Hover any number for its definition, sample, typical range and a read.

What else it does

  • Your turn. For each bet size, the chance everyone folds, plus who raises and who bets if you check. The size buttons open PokerNow’s bet box with the amount filled in, and you confirm; a random number from 1 to 100 helps with mixed strategies.
  • Player types and reads. After 30 hands each opponent gets a type, such as Fish, Nit or LAG (loose-aggressive). A stat clearly outside its typical range becomes a read, such as “Overfolds to 3-bets: 3-bet bluff more”, and the hands they showed are written out, telling ones first.
  • Notes and tags. Write notes on any player, and give any player one of your own colored tags, such as Reg or Fish. Tags stay in your browser.
  • A player database. Every player you’ve sat with, searchable by any name they’ve used, with all 139 stats broken down by position, pot type and number of players. You can export a backup file and restore it.

What you need

  • Chrome on a computer: Windows, Mac, Linux or a Chromebook. Chrome on phones and tablets doesn’t run extensions.
  • A No-Limit Hold’em game on pokernow.com. Other games, such as Omaha, aren’t supported.
  • No account. Agree to the privacy policy once, and the HUD starts the moment you open a table.

Questions about PokerNow HUD Advanced

Does it have an odds calculator?

No. It doesn’t calculate equity or pot odds. It shows opponent stats and, on your turn, how often each opponent folds to each of your bet sizes.

Is it a solver?

No. It doesn’t solve hands or tell you what to play. Each stat’s tooltip has a general read hint, such as “Overfolds to 3-bets: 3-bet bluff more”, and every decision is yours.

Does it work on Android or iPhone?

No. It works only in Chrome on a computer: Windows, Mac, Linux or a Chromebook. Chrome on phones and tablets doesn’t run extensions. You can still play PokerNow on your phone, just without the HUD.

Where does my data go?

Your player database is stored in your browser, and everything the HUD shows is read from there. We also do operations on hosted servers: at the start of every hand, the extension sends them what changed, encrypted in transit. Your data is used only to run PokerNow HUD Advanced, and the privacy policy lists exactly what’s sent.

Is PokerNow HUD Advanced on GitHub?

No. It isn’t open source and has no GitHub repository, so install it only from the Chrome Web Store.

Is PokerNow HUD Advanced on Reddit?

Not officially. There’s no subreddit or official account yet. For questions, bugs or feature requests, use the support form.
